waking up.

Many a night I wake, as if touched by another dimension. A feeling of euphoria and breathtaking awareness! It's like climbing a staircase and suddenly realizing that I stand at the summit of a mountain top. For moments, the sensation is profound and distinct, like nothing else I have ever experienced. A state of bliss.

Most recently I was awoken to knowing that I was part and one with tranquility, peace, happiness and love. I awoke to understand this somehow, I had not understood it the night before. The feeling and vision prior to waking it was surreal, yet like waking from a dream of separation and anxiety, which I was experiencing in every day life. A moment, profound and beyond words. Waking up just knowing with all of who I am that I now feel the truth, at least a glimpse of it. Aware now that this elevated state exists, leaves me searching for the next encounter....
